Matt Osborne is in his second year with George Washington as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Prior to this position, Osborne was a student at GW and a standout soccer player for the Colonials. As the athletic trainer for the women's basketball team, Osborne provides sports medicine coverage. He is responsible for the prevention, evaluation, care, rehabilitation and administration of athletic injuries. Osborne is also responsible for Men's and Women's Cross Country and Men's Rowing programs.

Osborne earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science concentrating in Athletic Training from GW in 2003. He then earned his Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentrating in Exercise, Nutrition, and Eating Disorders from GW in 2005.

As a student, Osborne was a four-year letterwinner for Men's Soccer. He was a two-time MVP ('00, '02) and finished second in all-time points (110) and goals (45). He was a three-time All-Conference selection and captained the Colonials to their first A-10 tournament title in school history in 2002. In 2002, he was named A-10 Co-Student Athlete of the Year for Men's Soccer, Verizon Academic All-American of the Year for Men's Soccer and GW's Male Student Athlete of the Year. He lives in Arlington, VA.
