WASHINGTON, DC (AP) - Junior Jessica Adair scored a career-high 29 points to lead No. 14/12 George Washington to a 75-65 win against Kentucky on Wednesday night.

Junior Antelia Parrish added 24 points and 16 rebounds for the Colonials (3-0), who extended their home winning streak to 15 games.

Samantha Mahoney scored 17 to lead Kentucky (1-1). Sarah Elliott added 13 points.

Adair had 17 of her points in the second half. The game was close until just after halftime, with George Washington holding a 36-35 lead with 19:27 left. The Colonials then went on a 7-0 run and took control of the game, as Adair and Parrish combined for 22 of the team's first 26 points after the half. George Washington built the lead to 15 points with 3:27 left.

It was the second-straight double-double for Parrish. The junior college transfer is averaging 19.7 points and 11.3 rebounds after her first three Division I games.

Adair's previous career high was 23 points, set against Tennessee on Dec. 7, 2006.

No. 14/12 GW hosts No. 6/7 Rutgers this Sunday at 8:00 pm. The game will be televised on ESPNU and feature the two highest ranked teams ever to meet at Smith Center.

NOTES: GW extends the nation's eighth longest home-court winning streak to 15 games ... Adair and Parrish's 20-point performances mark the first time since Dec. 13, 2005 that two GW players scored 20-or-more points ... Jessica Adair's 11 made free throws marked the first time since Jan. 29, 2004 that a GW player connected on 10-or-more free throws ... The duo of Adair and Parrish combined for 53 points on 18-of-29 shooting (.621), including 15-of-19 at the charity stripe (.789), 25 rebounds, four blocks and four steals.
