LAST TIME OUT: Behind a career night from junior Mei-Lyn Bautista, the Colonials used a big third quarter run to down visiting La Salle, 60-45, on Thursday night at the Smith Center. The win moved GW to 5-4 in the Atlantic 10 heading into the final month of the regular season.

LOCK DOWN DEFENSE: GW limited La Salle to just 39 field-goal attempts, the lowest amount of any opponent this season, while forcing 15 turnovers.

The 45 points scored by the Explorers also marks the seventh time this season GW has held an opponent to less than 50 points. The Colonials are undefeated when limiting opponents to below the half-century mark.

BIG BOARD NIGHT: GW won the rebounding battle over La Salle, 35-25, the largest rebounding differential of the season. The number was boasted by 17 offensive rebounds, which in turn led to a season-high total of 20 second-chance points.

Senior Brianna Cummings led the way with nine rebounds, marking the eighth time this season she has been GW's top rebounder, while freshman Neila Luma contributed a team-high five offensive caroms.

CAMI CONNECTS: Senior Camila Tapias broke out of a brief shooting slump by connecting on a trio of three-pointers on Thursday night to finish with nine points, along with two steals. It marked the fourth time this season, and sixth time in her career, she has hit a trio of threes or more.
