George Washington Women's Basketball will host the preseason No. 2 team in the country, Tennessee Lady Vols, in one of the most highly anticipated games of the year. Due to the high demand for seats, students are asked to pick up reserved tickets for this marquee match-up well in advance of the game. The Colonials are ranked No. 20 in the preseason Associated Press poll and No. 22 in the USA Today/ESPN poll.
Students can pick up their tickets for the Tuesday, Nov. 27, game against the Lady Vols from Monday, Nov. 12, through Friday, Nov. 16, at the Ticketmaster outlet in Marvin Center (Room 250) from 8:00 a.m. until 8 p.m. The first 1,000 students to pick up their reserved tickets will receive a free T-shirt and, by wearing that T-shirt to the Tennessee game, will become eligible for prizes.
Students also will have one additional opportunity at the Smith Center box office on Saturday, Nov. 17, during the women's basketball game against University of Hartford from 6 p.m. until the conclusion of the game when the box office closes.
Each student must present his/her GWorld card for one reserved general admission ticket in the student section. Students with tickets must arrive prior to 6:45 p.m. on the night of the game or their seats will be released to other students.
