Senior Danni Jackson led the Colonials to an 80-47 win over UT Arlington in the season opener with a team-best 13 points and seven assists to go along with three steals and three rebounds. Jackson shot 45.5 percent (5-for-11) from the field, including 1-for-2 from beyond the arc, and she made both of her free throw attempts. After a slow team start offensively that saw GW trailing, 10-4, Jackson scored eight of 10 points for the Colonials to give the home team the lead for good.
