Male Practice Players

Interns can earn college credit if their academic program permits.
Managers can earn stipends and books.
Male practice players can receive GW Nike Elite athletic gear.
What Do They Do?
Interns are needed to assist in the following areas:
  • Graphic design
  • Video breakdown and editing
  • Recruiting support
  • Operations support
What Do They Do?
  • Attend practice and games regularly.
  • Assist in all aspects of practice and game setup.
  • Assist in all aspects of supporting the women's basketball office.
  • Other assignments vary depending on the individual's background and interests.
What Do They Do?
  • Practice against the nationally ranked women's basketball team.
  • Act as "scout team" by simulating opponents' offenses and defenses and emulating opposing players' tendencies.
  • Participate in various events, such as coaching clinics and scrimmages.
Qualifications for Applicants:
  • Must be a full-time enrolled student at GW.
  • Must have class flexibility and be able to come to the women's basketball office on a regular basis.
  • Must have an interest for working in sports, graphic design or video editing.
Qualifications for Applicants:
  • Must have fundamental basketball knowledge.
  • Must be a full-time enrolled student at GW.
  • Must be able to attend multiple practices and games weekly and have class schedule flexibility.
Qualifications for Applicants:
  • Must have played high school varsity basketball.
  • Must be a full-time enrolled student at GW.
  • Must be able to attend multiple practices a week and have class schedule flexibility.
