AT GW: As a junior, went from performing on just beam to performing on beam vault and floor...established career high of 9.750 on vault in GW's first victory at West Virginia on 2/23/03...set a career high on floor of 9.850 against William & Mary on 3/16/03...twice tied career high of 9.775 on beam, once at NC State on 1/24/03 and the other versus William & Mary on 3/16/03...established career high of 9.775 on beam at Rhode Island on 3/23/02...provided consistent beam score throughout 2002 season...scored 9.750 on beam at Maryland on 3/19/01 to help the Colonials set a new team record in that event. PERSONAL: Born June 16, 1982 in St. Louis, MO...daughter of Rick and Terry Bernstein...one brother, David (18) and one sister, Julie (16)...two-time Junior Olympic Nationals qualifier...state vault and bars champion...electronic media major with a minor in english.
