"Being a member of the GW Gymnastics team will not only help me throughout my four years here at George Washington, but it will also teach life lessons that will help me follow a path to a successful future. Life skills such as perseverance determination, and dedication are all major parts of why we are so successful as a team. As a team we are selfless; we don't want the "I" to succeed, we want the "we" to succeed. The combination of having to work effectively as a team unit and as an individual is the perfect formula for success."

High School/Club: Competed at Chantilly Academy Gymnastics under Colonials assistant coaches Barry Kistler and Justin Watson... A 2007 Level 10 Regional qualifier.... Two-time Level 9 National qualifier; took second place on both the vault and balance beam...Member of the National Honor Society and The National Society of High School Scholars.

Personal: Born Brittany Loren Burnham in Fairfax, VA...daughter of David and Lori Burnham... has two younger siblings, Alexandra (15)and Tyler (12)... enjoys dancing, swimming, and reading... psychology major....aspires to go to law school.

"Brittany comes to GW following a senior year that found her recovering from an ankle injury," commented Foster-Cunningham.
