"As a GW gymnast, I have been presented with many challenges and opportunities. I am challenged everyday to perform at my highest ability both in the classroom and in the gym. I am challenged to become a working member in the cohesive unit that is our team. But, I am also given the opportunity to work with an amazing group of teammates, coaches, athletic staff, and administrators on a daily basis. This group of individuals has provided a network of support that has been crucial to the achievement of each success that I have found here at GW. By overcoming the challenges and embracing the opportunities here at GW, I have slowly built a level on confidence within myself that can never be diminished or removed. Most importantly, as a GW gymnast, I am continuously challenged to seek and achieve success, and it is this lesson that ensures that I will continue this seek and achieve a successful life outside of GW."
At GW: As a junior, performed in every meet for the Colonials on beam, and floor ... posted season-highs of 9.650 on beam and 9.800 on floor at the EAGL competition on 3/1/06 ... also competed on the vault at six meets and posted a season high 9.675 at home against Kent State on 2/12/06 and Central Michigan on 3/5/06 ... Qualified individually for Regional Competition finishing 13th on the beam ... As a sophomore, competed in every meet for the Colonials on vault, beam, and floor ... scored a career high of 9.85 on vault at Kentucky on 2/4/05, ranking her 16th best in school history ... posted season-highs of 9.775 on floor and 9.75 on beam at the NC State Hearts Invitational on 2/11/05 ... as a freshman, established herself as GW's 12th-best performer in school history on beam with a 9.875 at William & Mary on 2/8/04 in just her third collegiate meet ... recorded season-high 9.800 on vault at NC State on 2/27/04 ... set collegiate-bests of 9.850 on floor exercise at Kent State with Bowling Green on 2/20/04, and versus Temple and Rhode Island in the season finale on 3/20/04 ... her performance of 9.850 on floor ranks T-25th on the all-time list.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Competed for Chantilly Academy Gymnastics from 2001-2003 ... competed for Arena Gymnastics from 1995-2001 ... won the Eastern National Championship in the All-Around in 1999.
