GW Gymnastics Opens Season Hosting Lindsey Ferris Invitational at 1 pm on Sunday

GW, UNC, Cornell, Penn, Temple, W&M to compete at Smith Center.

"I am proud to be a Colonial gymnast because it means I am a small part of representing a well established legacy. Wearing GW's colors shows that we don't wait around for excellence, we chase after it and claim success for ourselves. Babe Ruth said, "It's hard to beat a person who never gives up." With this mindset, we are dedicated to discipline, perseverance, and strength. We celebrate each other's individual victories because those steps move us forward as a team. I am proud to be a Colonial gymnast because we are a family who is encouraging, loving, and caring of one another. It gives me faith that together, with these wonderful young women, we can achieve anything."

2012 as a sophomore: Competed in four meets, all on vault ... named to EAGL All-Academic Team ... recorded career-high 9.650 on vault against Towson (March 19).

2011 as a freshman: Competed in three meets in debut season ... scored 9.525 on the vault at Lindsey Ferris Invitational ... named to EAGL All-Academic Team.

Career Highs: Vault 9.725, Bars --, Beam --, Floor --, AA: --

High School/Club: Honor Graduate and Duluth Scholar at Duluth High School ... member of Roswell Gymnastics for eight years (2002-2010).
