"I am proud to be a colonial gymnast because I have the privilege to be a part of an amazing family who supports and brings out the best in me. Being a GW gymnast has shaped me into the person I am today, a better person and leader. It has taught me to embrace a positive attitude in everything I do, in or out of the gym. The life lessons I have been taught will apply to all situations I may encounter in the future and will be a huge contributor towards my success. I will forever be grateful to be a part of this experience." As a junior in 2012: Did not compete due to shoulder injury ... named to EAGL All-Academic Team. As a sophomore in 2011: Qualified for NCAA Regionals for second season in a row ... competed in every event in all 11 meets ... set career-high scores on the uneven bars (9.750), floor exercise (9.775) and all-around (38.875) against Kentucky & Bowling Green (3/4) ... named to All-EAGL Second Team for All-Around ... led team with 9.750 on the vault at the Kent State Quad Meet (1/22) ... led team with 9.700 on balance beam against Towson (1/29) ... also led team with 9.650 on the balance beam at West Virginia Quad Meet (2/20) ... finished season ranked 11th in the conference in the all-around with a 38.234 average. As a freshmen in 2010: Competed in 14 meets for the Colonials, including the NCAA Regional Championships ... participated in all events at each meet she competed in, except for one ... tied for team lead with season-high score of 9.75 on beam at EAGL Championship ... named to EAGl Second-Team All Tournament for both the beam and All-Around ... led team with score of 9.375 on vault, 9.75 on bars and 9.575 on beam at Lindsey Ferris Invite ... also led team with high scores in vault, bars and beam against NC State ... recorded team-high scores in bars and beam at Girl Scout Meet ... finished season raned 12th in conference in the All-Around, averaging 37.804.
