"My degree and my experience as a student athlete at GW will have a positive impact on my future success because of my education here, the experience I will have contrived, and the opportunities I will be offered. Through my experience as a student athlete I will learn a great deal about self-motivation, perseverance and attitude- and the opportunities provided to me by GW will give me the outlets to use those skills to achieve success. The word team brings about it many positive connotations- but to me it's much more than the synonyms can describe. A team is there no matter what, and they can push you when you feel you can't go any farther. However a team also requires every member to give the entity there all. But once a team has been melded together, once it has formed its strong bond a team is unbreakable- and can achieve things impossible by individuals. I'm proud to belong to a team like that here."
