High School/Club: Competed for New England Gymnastics Express under Head Coach Maureen Chagnon ... Two-time Level 10 National Qualifier ... placed ninth on the balance beam at 2007 Nationals ... Three-time Level 10 Regional qualifier ... finished 7th all-around, 4th on vault, and 3rd on bars at 2006 Regionals ... took third in the all-around in the Level 10 State Championships in 2006 and 2007 ... graduated with a 3.95 GPA.

Personal: Born Kirstie Allyson Viens on August 28, 1989 in Hartford, CT ... daughter of Daniel and Cynthia Viens ... has two older sisters, Alex, and Danielle, who also competes for the Temple University gymnastics team ... undecided on a major but aspires to attend medical school.
