Justin Watson is in his 11th season as the volunteer assistant gymnastics coach at The George Washington University. He joined head coach Margie Foster Cunningham's staff in the fall of 2005 after having spent the `04-`05 gymnastics season as the program director of Gulf Coast Gymnastics where he was responsible for creating the boy's program at a brand new gym.
Prior to his work at Gulf Coast Gymnastics, Watson served from 2000-04 as the boys team head coach and program director at the Nittany Gymnastics Academy, where he led several teams and individuals to state championships.
A former Junior National Competitor, Watson while volunteering his time to GW Gymnastics also works with Foster-Cunningham at the Chantilly Academy, serving as the girls team head coach where he has led two girls to Eastern National Championships.
He currently resides in Sterling, VA.
