Gymnastics Places Third at North Carolina Meet
CHAPEL HILL, NC - The GW Gymnastics team posted a score of 191.900 to place third behind Bowling Green State University (192.675) and the University of North Carolina (193.825) in the three-way meet Saturday in Chapel Hill, NC.
GW's Devin McCalla (Dallas, TX/J.J. Pierce) was third in the all-around with a score of 38.675 while Jessica Mantak (Colonia, NJ/Wardlaw-Hartridge) placed sixth in the all-around with a 37.400. UNC's Monica Middleton won the all-around with a score of 39.050.
The Colonials resume competition Wednesday, Feb. 13, when they host Maryland in a 7:00 p.m. meet at Smith Center.
