WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington women's gymnastics team went up the road to College Park on Sunday and placed fourth in a meet that also included Maryland, Pittsburgh and William and Mary. The Colonials recorded a team score of 186.650 and placed highest in the vault with a score of 48.200.

The University of Maryland won the meet with a score of 194.500 and Pittsburgh finished second with a score of 192.925. William and Mary finished third overall with a team score of 188.175.

Junior Leslie Delima led the Colonials with a season-high all-around score 38.700. She scored 9.725 on the floor exercise and the balance beam as well as a 9.675 on vault. Senior Megan Quinn was second on George Washington with an all-around score of 38.125.

The Colonials continue on the road as they travel to Towson, MD on Friday to take on the Towson Tigers. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. It will be the second of three road meets in a row as George Washington does not return to the Smith Center until Wednesday, March 7th when they take on William & Mary and New Hampshire.
