WASHINGTON, DC - The Colonials Women's Gymnastics team started their busy week on Tuesday night in College Park, MD and posted a season-high 192.825 in a tri-meet with North Carolina and Maryland. North Carolina won the meet with a team-score of 194.000 and Maryland finished second with a score of 193.375.

George Washington was led by junior Leslie Delima, who scored a 38.950 in the all-around. Freshman Kayla Carto finished with an all-around score of 38.400 and senior Megan Quinn scored a 38.475 of her own. Sophomore Amanda Murphy was the fourth all-around performer and finished with a 38.275.

The Colonials performed best on floor, scoring a 48.775 in the rotation and were led by Delima, who scored a 9.850. Delima also led the Colonials on balance beam with a score of 9.700 and freshman Stephanie Stoicovy led George Washington on bars with a score of 9.675.

North Carolina was led in the all-around by Christine Nguyen, who finished with an all-around score of 39.125. Nguyen also had the highest individual score when she scored a 9.925 on floor.

George Washington will return to action this Wednesday, March 17 when they return to the Smith Center and take on the Towson Tigers from the SEC. First rotation is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. EST
