WASHINGTON -- For the second time this season, George Washington gymnastics senior Cami Drouin-Allaire was named East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week after finishing second on the all-around podium with a season-high matching 39.400 during No. 10 Denver's Winterfest Weekend.

On Saturday evening, the Colonials totaled 195.900 to finish second in tri-meet action behind Denver and ahead of No. 31 West Virginia. Drouin-Allaire was on the podium with a second-place finish on vault (9.900), third-place finish on floor (9.875), and second-place finish in the all-around (39.400), while also leading the team in both events. The Shorham, New York native also finished tied for fifth on bars (9.800) and fifth on beam (9.825).

The biology major and senior co-captain has broken the 39.000 threshold in the all-around five out of the six weeks of competition so far this season and has scored above a 9.900 on vault three times in 2018.

The gymnastics squad has also taken the top EAGL honor five out of six weeks of competition this season.

The Colonials will head to St. Louis on Feb. 16 to face a field of top-ranked opponents that features No. 4 LSU, No. 8 Arkansas, and No. 20 Missouri. The meet will be contested on podium, an elevated competition floor as seen at the NCAA Gymnastics National Championship.
