Colonials Visit Tigers for First Dual Meet of Season

WASHINGTON - The George Washington gymnastics team travels to Colombia, Mo., this weekend to for a dual meet with Missouri on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. ET at Hearnes Center.
The Colonials are coming off a second-place finish out of four teams at last weekend's Sweetheart Invitational, where freshman Chelsea Raineri finished in first place on the vault for the sixth consecutive meet to start her career.
Raineri currently leads the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) and is tied for 21st in the nation with a vault average of 9.879. The Telford, Pa., native also ranks seventh in the conference with an average routine of 9.817 on floor exercise.
Senior Taylor Henderson is also ranked in the top-10 in the EAGL on uneven bars, sitting ninth with an average of 9.738.
Junior Elena Corcoran ranks second on the team on vault and 14th in the EAGL with an average of 9.775.
Missouri ranks last in the eight-team Southeastern Conference (SEC) in overall team score, vault and floor exercise and is seventh on uneven bars and balance beam.
