GW Gymnastics' Raineri Named EAGL Rookie of the Week
Freshman Earns Second Weekly Honor of Season

BALTIMORE, Md. - George Washington gymnastics freshman Chelsea Raineri picked up the second East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) honor of her career when she was named the leagues' Rookie of the Week on Tuesday evening.
Raineri was previously named EAGL Co-Rookie of the Week on January 22.
The Telford, Pa., native continued her dominance on vault this past weekend, scoring 9.875 in a dual meet at Missouri to take second place. It marks the fifth time this season that she has scored a 9.875 or better on the event. She added scores of 9.725 on both uneven bars and floor exercise.
Raineri currently leads the EAGL and ranks 25th in Division I on vault with an average routine of 9.879. She also ranks seventh in the EAGL on floor exercise with an average score of 9.804.
The Colonials return to action on Monday night when they host conference rivals New Hampshire and Maryland at the annual Pink Meet at the Charles E. Smith Center at 7 p.m.
