Gymnast Mann Finishes 14th in All-Around at NCAA Southeast Regional

ATHENS, GA - Junior Rachel Mann (Atlanta, GA/Lakeside) finished 14th in the all-around at the NCAA Southeast Regional in Athens, GA on Saturday, April 12. She totalled a 38.325 that put her just .025 behind NC State's Leah Sabo.

Mann rotated with Georgia and started the evening on her best event, scoring a 9.750 on the floor exercise. She then moved to vault where she scored 9.500. In the fifth rotation, Mann competed on the uneven bars where she tallied another 9.500. She finished the evening on the balance beam posting a 9.575.

Chelsa Byrd won the all-around with a 39.625 and was followed by teammate Cory Fitzinger who finished with a 39.225. Georgia dominated the team competition as well, winning by over two points with a total of 197.125.
