GW Gymnastics Announces Recruiting Class

WASHINGTON - George Washington gymnastics head coach Margie Foster-Cunningham has announced that five student-athletes will be joining the Colonials for the 2017 season.

The class includes a quartet of freshmen student-athletes in Cydney Crasa, Ryan Finkelstein, Jenna Horner and Nicole Rogalski, along with sophomore transfer student Brooke Bray from Auburn University.

"As a group, this incoming class is very diverse," said head coach Margie Foster-Cunningham. "They will fill the holes that we had last year and bolster our depth on all events. We are excited to complete our roster with this strong character class."

Coach Foster-Cunningham on Bray: "I am excited to have Brooke join us an an experienced upperclassman. Her balance beam, floor exercise and vault routines will all help us this season."

Coach Foster-Cunningham on Finkelstein: "Ryan is a floor exercise and uneven bars specialist. She is an energetic and positive addition to the team on both of those events."

Coach Foster-Cunningham on Horner: "Jenna will add depth on several events this season. Floor exercise is her strongest event at this time but she will be counted on to contribute across the board."

Coach Foster-Cunningham on Rogalski: "Nicole is a technically strong athlete. She excels on the balance beam and uneven bars. We are looking for her to make an instant impact on our lineup."
