Six GW Gymnasts Named NACGC/W Scholastic All-Americans

WASHINGTON - Six GW gymnasts earned National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches for Women (NACGC/W) Scholastic All-America honors for the 2012-13 academic year.

Recent graduates Nefertiti Roy (3.52, Psychology) and Stephanie Stoicovy (3.76, Pre-Physical Therapy) headline the group along with rising seniors Betsy Zander (3.58, Sport, Event and Hospitality Management) and Brittany Doran (3.63, Finance/International Business) and rising juniors Courtney Willoughby (3.56, Sport, Event and Hospitality Management) and Brenna Marcoux (3.91, Civil Engineering).

All six of these gymnasts were also honored on the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) All-Academic Team last season.

Gymnasts must have earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the 2012-13 academic year to be eligible for NACGC/W Scholastic All-America honors.
