A native of "I am honored to join the George Washington family and appreciate the opportunity Since 2005, Black has served as a counselor at various summer lacrosse camps across Black also served as a camp coach for Elevate Lacrosse for three years where she was responsible for teaching the game to girls ages 5-18. While working with Elevate Lacrosse, she prepared assessments on players for college coaches; initiated, organized and conducted drills and games; and generated in-depth conversation on playing lacrosse at the collegiate level. Adding to her resume, Black has served as coach of Hero's Lacrosse Club since 2005, where she was responsible for coaching and educating high school players on the skills necessary to play at the collegiate level. She also conducted practice sessions twice per week and organized motivational and team-building activities and exercises. A two-year starter and a team captain her senior season, Black tallied a total of 100 goals, 51 assists and 80 draw controls in her four-year career at Maryland. She was also a member of the ACC All-Academic Team. Black graduated from |
