ON THE ATTACK: Donohue leads the Colonials in the scoring column with seven goals and two assists. The junior attacker found the back of the net four times in the season opener against Monmouth and three more times against Georgetown to register the fifth and sixth hat tricks of her career.

Kiernan and Quinn made an immediate offensive impact, both earning two goals in the season opener against Monmouth, while Paoletta and Esmond played key minutes on the defensive end.

SCOUTING LONGWOOD: The Lancers (0-2) dropped their second game of the season to Lafayette in an 18-3 decision. Longwood was without starting defender Hollyn Royster, who picked up a ground ball and won two draw controls for the blue and white in their season-opener against Navy.

SERIES HISTORY: The Colonials will meet the Lancers for the first time since 2005, when GW edged Longwood 11-10. GW holds a 2-0 advantage on the series.

LOOK AHEAD: GW will return home on Saturday, Feb. 25 to host UMBC at 1 p.m. at the GW Lacrosse Field on the Mouth Vernon Campus.
