Junior Jamie Bumgardner averaged 3.0 goals, 4.5 assists and 7.5 points as she helped the George Washington lacrosse team to consecutive victories last week to improve to 3-0 at the GW Lacrosse Field on the Mount Vernon Campus this season. Bumgardner paced GW in its 21-10 win over Liberty on Wednesday with a single-game program record 12 points on a game-high six goals and a single-game mark of six assists. The reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Week then lifted GW to an 8-7 decision over Davidson on Saturday when she dished out three assists and moved into third all-time at GW with 56 career helpers. The Hatfield, Pa., native also picked up four ground balls and won three draw controls in the two contests. She currently leads the A-10 and NCAA Division I with 4.0 assists per game and ranks first in the league and third in the nation with 16 total assists. Bumgardner is tied for fifth in D-I in points per game (6.75), tied for ninth in points (27), and sits atop the conference in both categories.
