Women's Lacrosse Home Opener Versus Towson Postponed

March 7, 2007

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington women's lacrosse team's home opener against Towson scheduled for this afternoon, March 7, has been postponed due to the snowfall that hit the District overnight.

The Colonials will still open their home schedule versus the Tigers on March 18 at 4:00 pm, three days following the team's spring break trip to Denver and Davidson, NC. GW visits the Pioneers on Tuesday, March 13, at 6:00 pm EST, and the Wildcats two days later at 7:00 pm.

GW is coming off its first victory of the season, a 14-7 win at Mount St. Mary's on March 1. Junior Kristin Karcsh tallied six goals in that game, one shy of matching the program record for goals in a single-game.
