WASHINGTON, DC - Freshman Lauren Bower (Moorestown, NJ/Moorestown) has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for women's lacrosse, the league office has announced. It marks her second A-10 weekly award.

The 5-foot-4 midfielder netted five goals over three matches this week. Bower had three goals in a 19-4 victory over Howard on April 9 and netted two goals in a 12-6 loss to La Salle on April 11.

GW (6-6, 1-3 Atlantic 10) next plays at Richmond on Thursday, April 17, in a 3:30 p.m. match at Richmond, VA.
