Joy Named to A-10 Women's Lacrosse All-Championship Team

PHILADELPHIA, PA - George Washington sophomore midfielder Audrey Joy was named to the Atlantic 10 Women's Lacrosse All-Championship Team announced at the conclusion of the tournament title game Sunday, April 26.

Joy led the Colonials and matched a career-high with three goals and added two ground balls in their 12-9 semifinal loss to top-seeded and eventual champion Massachusetts Friday, April 24. She scored twice during a four-goal run late in the second half which brought No 4-seed GW to within a goal at 10-9 with 4:58 remaining. Joy is the sixth Colonial to be named to the A-10 All-Championship Team.

Joy finished the season with 17 points on 14 goals and 3 assists, ranked third on the team with 18 draw controls and sixth with 23 ground balls.

The A-10 Championship appearance was GW's third in the past five seasons.
