Colonials Place Two on Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team

RICHMOND, VA - Junior Annie Howley and senior captain Meghan McDonough were selected to the 2005 Atlantic 10 All-Championship Team on Saturday, May 7. The team was announced following Richmond's 10-8 victory over Duquesne in the tournament's championship match.

Howley recorded a hat trick in GW's semifinal loss to Duquesne on May 6. She ranks second on the team with 37 points, including 28 goals.

McDonough notched a pair of assists against the Dukes and contributed a ground ball. She has 31 points on the season (19g, 12a).

Richmond's Caroline McGuire was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after leading the Spiders to their first league championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

The 2005 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship bracket will be revealed on Sunday, May 8 between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on College Sports Television (CSTV).
