BALTIMORE, MD - George Washington senior Molly Gannon is one of 40 players selected to participate in the 2007 North-South Senior All-Star Lacrosse Game, to be held at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA, on June 16.

Gannon will suit up for the South All-Stars in the event, which showcases the nation's top seniors. The All-Star Game is part of the STX Farewell Lacrosse Festival and is jointly sponsored by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. Game time for the Division I All-Star Game is tentatively scheduled for 3:00 pm. Gannon and Temple's Allison Frengs are the only two Atlantic 10 players chosen to participate.

Gannon appeared in a school-record 69 games for the Colonials during her four-year career. A two-time Second Team All-Atlantic 10 performer, Gannon ranks second all-time at GW with 85 caused turnovers, tied for second with 78 draw controls and third with 111 ground balls.

GW posted an 11-7 record in 2007 and advanced to its first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship final after splitting the regular-season title with Richmond.
