Final Stats

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Senior Keara Mehlert scored the match's first goal in the 37th minute, but Temple evened the match in the 79th minute and netted the game-winner 10 minutes into overtime to deal the George Washington women's soccer team a 2-1 league loss in its season finale Sunday.

Mehlert scored for the second consecutive match, tallying an unassisted strike at the 36:33 mark to give GW (8-11-0, 4-7-0 A-10) a 1-0 first-half lead. The goal was Mehlert's team-leading sixth of the season.

Temple's (4-11-4, 2-6-3 A-10) Charisma Wright had a hand in both the equalizer and game-winning goals in the come-from-behind victory. Wright assisted Amanda Vogelman's 25-yard strike with just over 11 minutes to play in regulation to even the match and then stole a pass in the Colonials' 18-yard box and sent a six-yard shot past goalkeeper Lindsey Rowe with 56 seconds left in the first overtime for the deciding tally.

The Colonials were outshot 11-9 and outcornered 6-3. Rowe made five saves to finish her rookie season with an Atlantic 10-leading 104 stops.
