ST. BONAVENTURE, NY (Nov. 4) - George Washington senior forward Tiffany Williams (Sykesville, MD/Liberty) netted three goals and sophomore goalkeeper Christine O'Malley (Davis, CA/Davis Senior) made six saves for her fourth shutout of the season to lead the Colonials to a 3-0 victory over St. Bonaventure this afternoon, Nov. 4. The victory improves GW's record to 8-10 overall and to 5-6 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. St. Bonaventure falls to 3-15-1 overall and to 1-10 in the Atlantic 10.

Williams put GW on the board early when she took a pass from fellow senior Erin Coppedge (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's) and blasted it past St. Bonnies keeper, Karen Cunningham, at the 4:14 mark.

The score remained the same until the final ten minutes of the match when GW pulled away. Williams took a pass from sophomore Meggan Eckert (Scottsdale, AZ/Desert Mountain) in the 86th minute and beat Cunningham to give GW a 2-0 lead.

Williams completed the hat trick in the 89th minute when she slipped a shot into the corner of the net for the unassisted goal. With the hat trick today, Williams finishes her GW career with 11 career goals.
