Senior defender Jane Wallis netted two goals while junior midfielder Nicole Belfonti and sophomore forward Kristi Abbate each scored once.
GW returns 22 letterwinners and seven starters from the 2012 roster and welcomes 11 freshmen. Under the direction of second-year Head Coach Sarah Barnes, the Buff and Blue look to improve upon last year's 5-12-1 overall record and 1-8-0 A-10 mark.
Delaware comes to the GW Soccer Field following a 2-0 exhibition loss at La Salle on Tuesday. The Blue Hens went 9-8-1 overall and 6-4-0 in CAA action in 2012, and qualified for the conference championship for the second straight season.
