WASHINGTON, DC- The George Washington University women's soccer team defeated the Loyola (MD) University Greyhounds in this evening's exhibition match 1-0, at Mount Vernon Field.

Freshman Kayley Sullivan scored the only goal of the game by beating her opponent one-on-one down the right side of the field before putting it past Loyola's goalkeeper Brittany Henderson.

The Colonials open the regular season on Monday, August 24 against Towson, at the Mount Vernon Field at 5 p.m.
