Women's Soccer Matches Postponed Naval Academy Cancels Tournament Scheduled for This Weekend

ANNAPOLIS, MD (Sept. 13) - The United States Naval Academy has canceled the women's soccer tournament scheduled for this weekend.

The George Washington University's women's soccer team was scheduled to compete in the tournament on Friday, Sept. 14, against Butler University and on Sunday, Sept. 16, against George Mason University.

Although the tournament has been canceled, head coach Tanya Vogel has announced that the Colonials will play Navy on Monday, Sept. 17, at 7:00 pm at the Naval Academy. Vogel also announced that GW will play George Mason on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 3:00 pm at George Mason.
