Williams Earns A-10 Player of the Week Honors

Nov. 6, 2001

WASHINGTON, DC (Nov. 6) - George Washington University senior forward Tiffany Williams (Sykesville, MD/Liberty) has been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. It is the first time Williams has earned the honor.

Williams recorded her first career hat trick in GW's 3-0 victory over St. Bonaventure on Sunday, Nov. 4. The skilled forward ended her GW career by scoring four goals in her final three matches and finished the season third on the team in scoring with 10 points. Williams finished her GW career with 32 points, tying her for 20th on GW's all-time list with former Colonial, Maureen Schafer.

Williams and the Colonials finished the regular season with an overall record of 8-10. The Colonials finished seventh in the Atlantic 10 with a record of 5-6.
