Liza Fuller joins the Colonials softball staff as a pitching coach for the 2011 season.
Fuller was a four-year pitcher for the Drexel Dragons from 2002-05, including her final season under the tutelage of Schramm. While at Drexel, Fuller led the team in batting average, triples and runs batted in during the 2005 season as a co-captain. She was also named to the Colonial Athletic Association All-Tournament team in 2005. Fuller is second all-time at Drexel in career strikeouts with 369 in 549.1 innings pitched in 98 appearances. She also recorded a no-hitter against Manhattan on March 25, 2003.
After Fuller graduated from Drexel in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, she traveled to Germany to help the Hamburg Knights win the German National Championship in the fall of 2005. She also earned a master's degree in business administration from Wheeling Jesuit University, where she was a graduate assistant coach under Schramm.
Fuller currently works as a business advisor for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency program offices in Washington, DC.
