GW Softball Set to Battle for Atlantic 10 Championship Title

No. 4 Colonials Face No. 5 Saint Louis in Opening Game on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

At GW:
2007 - Owns GW career records home runs (25) and RBIs (80) ... Started 46 games for the Colonials, 42 at Centerfield ... Led the team with nine home runs and six Multi RBI Games ... Her nine home runs ranked third in the Atlantic 10 ... finished second on the team with a .294 batting average and .546 slugging percentage ... third on the team with eight stolen bases ... one of three GW players to bat over .300 in conference play ... batted .377 in the month of April to raise her average 76 points ... Slugged six home runs and 11 RBIs in April which included a season-best seven game hitting streak ... homered in both games at Charlotte (4/1) ... went 4/7 with a home run, 3 RBIs, 2 runs scored and a stolen base in a sweep of Rhode Island (4/27) ... crushed two home runs to go with 4 RBIs at Mercer (2/23) ... became the third player in GW history to record 100 career base hits at James Madison (4/12).

2005 - Started all 44 games as a freshman in centerfield ... hit .313 with a team-high 10 home runs, 33 RBI, 12 doubles, 84 total bases and a .656 slugging percentage ... also stole nine bases, scored 25 runs and had 40 hits to rank second on the team in each category ... in the A-10, ranked third in both slugging percentage and doubles, fourth in home runs, and sixth in both RBI and total bases ... had four hits, including three home runs, eight RBI and four runs scored in GW's doubleheader sweep against Coppin State (3/10) ... went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI versus Rhode Island (3/26) ... went 2-for-3 with two home runs, two RBI and two runs scored at Fordham (4/22) ... had a team-best 10 game hitting streak during the season ... led the team with 10 multi-RBI games and had 11 multi-hit games ... was twice named A-10 Rookie of the Week (3/14 & 4/4).
