BRONX, NY -- The George Washington softball team fell to Fordham, 3-0, on Friday in an Atlantic 10 Conference match-up at Bahoshy Field. The Colonials fall to 11-16-1 on the season, 3-4 in A-10 play, while the Rams improve to 23-16, 6-3 on the season.

The Colonials got a base runner in the first inning when Katie Terrazas took first on a Fordham throwing error but was left stranded.

GW got two more runners on in the fourth inning, when Lauren Wilson drew a lead-off walk followed by Autumn Taylor taking first base on a fielding error. The two runners got as far third and second but were left on base.

GW starter Kara Clauss (8-9) threw six innings gave up three runs on four hits, including two solo home runs, and struck out three Fordham batters.

The Colonials and the Rams wrap up the two-game series on Saturday, April 9, with first pitch at 12:00 pm at Fordham's Bahoshy Field.
