Kovalsky went 8-for-18 at the plate (.444) with three RBIs, four runs scored and three doubles in five games for the Colonials at the Citrus Classic in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend.

The Windermere, Florida, native also started three games in the circle, notching a complete-game shutout over Marist on Friday, tossing all six innings of the contest and earning her first win of the season. Kovalsky helped GW earn its first-ever victory over Virginia in her second straight complete game, throwing all 10 innings of a 16-9 victory on Saturday. On Sunday, she pitched 3.1 innings of GW's third win of the weekend, allowing just one run in the 8-2 win over Morgan State.

Kovalsky is batting a team-high .458 on the season and holds a team-best 1.65 ERA with 25.1 innings pitched and a 2-0 record.
