WASHINGTON - Just two days after the teams tied, 2-2, in the final game of the Colonials Tournament, the George Washington softball team will host Mount St. Mary's in a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. First pitch at the GW Softball Field on the Mount Vernon Campus is slated for 3 p.m.

GW (4-14-1) is coming off a successful weekend at the Colonials Tournament, going 3-1-1 with wins over Binghamton, Howard and Wagner and a 2-2 tie against Mount St. Mary's. Freshman Mary Wiley, who was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Monday, hit a team-high .500 (8-for-16) with two doubles and four RBIs on the weekend, while freshman Megan Linn hit .353 (6-for-17) with five RBIs and six runs scored.

In the circle, senior Courtney Martin and sophomore Meghan Rico allowed opponents to hit just .194 in the five games, posting a 1.17 ERA over 36.0 innings.

Wiley (.348) and Linn (.333) are GW's top two hitters on the season. Linn also leads the Colonials with 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored, and Wiley has a team-high seven walks and .444 on-base percentage.

Mount St. Mary's (6-7-1) went 0-2-1 at the Colonials Tournament, falling to Binghamton twice and tying GW. Jessica Greenwald leads the Mount with a .295 average, while Rachel Gavigan and Rachel Heinze are tops with five RBIs apiece. Nicole Pagano has posted a stellar 1.17 ERA with 70 strikeouts in 54.0 innings of work.

GW is 10-7-1 all-time against Mount St. Mary's following Sunday's draw, including 6-0-1 over the last three seasons. Rico is 2-0 with a 0.37 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 19 career innings against the Mount.
