WASHINGTON, DC -- George Washington softball freshman Chelsea Lenhart has been named Atlantic 10 Softball Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday. This is the second straight week and the third time this season Lenhart has won the weekly honor.

Lenhart helped the Colonials (11-11-1) to a 2-2-1 record this week in centerfield. At the plate, she went 10-for-18 (.556) in five games, hitting five doubles, and batted in nine runs while not surrendering an out via strikeout.

The Phoenix, AZ, native was only held off the bases in the second game against Cornell on Tues. and picked up two of GW's five hits against Coppin State on Wed.
