Softball Opener At Rhode Island Postponed

Doubleheader will be played starting at 12:00 pm on Saturday

KINGSTON, RI - The George Washington Colonials softball opener at Rhode Island scheduled for 2:00 pm has been postponed due to inclement weather. A doubleheader will be played on Saturday, April 28, beginning at 12:00 pm.

The Colonials (19-22, 6-8 A-10) are currently seventh in the Atlantic 10 standings, with the top six teams qualifying for the conference tournament in Amherst, MA on May 9-12. Following the doubleheader at Rhode Island, GW will travel to Massachusetts for a Sunday, April 29 doubleheader at 12:00 pm.
