WASHINGTON, DC -- The GW Softball team will host the 2nd annual Barbeque at the Ballpark on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 12-2 p.m. on the softball field at GW's Mount Vernon campus (2100 Foxhall Road in northwest Washington).

Students, parents, and friends are invited for free food, music, and games. Best of all, the Barbeque at the Ballpark is a great opportunity to meet the GW Softball players and coaches. We will recognize all former GW Softball players and their families as well as enjoy free food and games.

The event will include a silent auction in which many items, including autographed memorabilia from a member of the USA Olympic softball team will be on display and available for purchase. A list of auction items appears below. All proceeds will go toward GW Softball Spring Trip to the USF Under Armour Showcase held in Clearwater, FL, in March, 2009.
