GW Softball Names Keri Kubala Assistant Coach

WASHINGTON, DC - Keri D. Kubala has been hired as the assistant coach for softball at The George Washington University, Head Coach Leslie King-Moore has announced. Kubala will assist Moore in all aspects of the University's newest sport which begins its inaugural season in the spring of 2003.

Kubala comes to GW after playing for the University of Houston the last two seasons. Prior to her stint with the Cougars, Kubala played two seasons at Texarkana College in Texarkana, TX. While at Houston, the Cougars posted a 57-58 record, including a 35-25 mark this past season, when she served as the intern student coach.

The Colonials, the newest softball member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, will play their home games at the new field on the GW-Mount Vernon campus located at 2100 Foxhall Road in northwest Washington.
