GW Softball to Host Winter Instructional Clinic on Jan. 27

WASHINGTON - The George Washington softball program will host a winter instructional clinic at the university's Mount Vernon Campus on Sunday, Jan. 27.
The clinic is open to girls ages 12-18 and is designed to cultivate the player's offensive and defensive skill sets. Campers will receive elite instruction from the GW coaching staff, as well as members of the Colonials softball team.
Camp check-in is scheduled for 8-9 a.m., with activities beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding at 5 p.m. Campers should provide their own lunch, water bottle, practice clothing and equipment, including glove, bat, helmet, sneakers and cleats.
The registration fee for the clinic is $95. A team rate of $75 per camper is available for a team of seven or more players. Campers can register for the clinic by completing the registration form and returning it with payment made out to GW Softball by Friday, Jan. 25. Registration is also available at check-in on the day of the clinic for an additional $10 fee.
