Second Annual Georgey Awards Honor Best in GW Athletics

The Top Student-Athletes, Teams and Moments for 2012-13 Recognized at Annual Awards Show

2013-14: Named College Squash Association (CSA) Second Team All-American for second consecutive season ... finished second on team with 15 victories against just two losses, all at the No. 1 position on ladder ... 13 of 15 wins came in straight sets ... defeated Yan Xin Tan of No. 3. Penn (11-13, 11-6, 14-12, 11-5) on Nov. 24 ... went 3-0 at CSA Team Nationals, helping Colonials to first ever Kurtz Cup Championship ... yielded an average of 5.7 points per set in her three matches at CSA Team Nationals ... allowed an average of 4.9 points per set in her 15 wins ... rallied from 0-2 deficit to defeat Nessrine Arrifin (10-12, 9-11, 17-15, 17-15, 11-6) of No. 10 Bates ... went 1-2 at CSA Individual Nationals.

2012-13: Became the GW squash program's first ever College Squash Association (CSA) All-American after playing to 16-4 overall record in debut season ... 15 of 16 wins came in straight sets ... yielded an average of 4.3 points per set in her 16 victories ... closed season on eight-match win streak, including a 3-0 mark at CSA Team Nationals ... posted 8-3 record against opponents from Top-15 programs ... named Female Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player at the Second Annual Georgey Awards ... went 2-2 at CSA Individual Nationals.
