No. 13 Women's Squash Sweeps Drexel, 9-0, For Third Straight Win
Colonials Win All Matches in Straight Sets For Third Consecutive Time

WASHINGTON - The No. 13 George Washington women's squash team won all matches in straight sets for the third consecutive time as the Colonials downed No. 21 Drexel, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at Lerner Health & Wellness Center.
GW (9-6) picked up its third consecutive win and has not dropped a set at any level on the ladder since Jan. 20.
Freshman Anna Gabriela Porras led the way at No. 1, defeating Damindi Udangawa 11-3, 11-8, 11-6. All but one of Porras' 11 victories this season have been straight-set triumphs.
Junior Jackie Shea played at No. 2 and delivered an 11-3, 11-6, 11-5 sweep of Kaitlyn Money to earn her sixth win of the season.
Freshman Emely Levyn rounded out the top three by posting an 11-3, 12-10, 11-4 win over Katie Barnes. Levyn picked up her eighth win of the season and first in the No. 3 position on the ladder.
At No. 5, freshman Alexa Tzarnas was victorious in the only five-set affair of the afternoon. Tzarnas dropped her opening set, 3-11, to Kiran Vasudevan. The Merion, Pa., native rebounded to take a 2-1 lead but was unable to close out the match and lost the fourth set in extra points. She rallied in the fifth to post a 3-11, 11-5, 11-3, 10-12, 11-5 win.
The Colonials are back in action tomorrow afternoon with a visit to Providence, R.I., for a match with No. 9 Brown.
