No. 13 Women's Stumbles at No. 9 Brown, 7-2

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The No. 13 George Washington women's squash team closed out the road portion of its schedule with a 7-2 loss at No. 9 Brown on Sunday afternoon.

Freshman Anna Gabriela-Porras and junior Jackie Shea picked up wins for the Colonials. Porras swept her way to an 11-6, 11-5, 11-6 win over Dori Rahbar at No. 1 and Shea defeated Sarah Domenick in straight sets (12-10, 11-8, 11-2) at No. 2.

Junior Kelly Barnes pushed her opponent to a fifth set, but was unable to complete the comeback after establishing a 2-1 lead at No. 4.

The Colonials close out the regular season on Friday against No. 14 Franklin & Marshall at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts at Lerner Health & Wellness Center at 5:30 p.m.
